Admission Requirements
To qualify for Arizona alternative teaching certification, candidates must typically hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution, pass a background check, and enroll in a state-approved educator preparation program like #TEACH. In addition, candidates must meet Arizona teacher certification testing requirements, including a Subject Knowledge exam (AEPA or NES), a Professional Knowledge exam, and the U.S. and Arizona Constitutions requirement, which can be completed through an exam or coursework within three years.

Core Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
You must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university. National accreditation is not sufficient.
Academic Transcripts
Request that your college/university send your official transcripts sent to transcripts@trainingeducators.com
GPA Requirement
You must have a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The GPA can be from any degree acquired that is a BA or higher.
Completed Application
You must submit an application for admission. The application is short and should take you 7 minutes or less to complete!
